Aerophone Mini - Octave Exercises - Part 3

Gianluca Barbaro

Hello guys,

here is the third part of my Octave Exercises for the Aerophone Mini, please read the first article of this series first (and eventually the second one).

This time we are going to focus on small 3-note patterns taken from major scales. In particular, we will work on those fragments of major scales that involve an octave change. As you will see, we start without altered notes and then we add the required alterations while passing from one major scale to another.

As indicated in the exercises, I suggest working on these patterns explicitly at all three different octaves, because the mechanics of the fingers are slightly different, and because in the third register we are going to use the extended fingerings, as explained in the first part of this series.
